This may be some problem with the data formatters. A quick workaround,
and way to verify this, is to turn them off (there is a menu item in
the Debug menu to this effect).

Hi!
I am new to the mac world and to xcode, I had posted the following

me on the following problem – xcode timing out after hitting the very
foirst break point.

Hi!
I had posted this last week, apologies for posting it again. I will
greatly appreciate if some one could help me with some debugging tips
in Xcode. We use the Qt framework for our code. The problem I am
running into is after we “break” at the very first breakpoint and
pressing the “continue button” the spinning wheel appears and the
xcode debugger ultimately says “Timed out fetching data”. I am not
being able to make any progress debugging my apps. I have also set the
optimization flag to –O0, because –Os (the default) was making the
breakpoints jump around in an unexpected way.
Any help will be highly appreciated.
Regards,
Vikas..
