Note that "Preprocessor Macros" (aka GCC_PREPROCESSOR_DEFINITIONS) only
gets used by native targets.
However, if you have a native target and the build setting is not being
honored, then a bug report is in order.

It's been a while, but the last time I tried setting something in that
build setting it didn't get passed to the compiler for some reason...
