Hi Scott,

Thanks for the reply. The reason that I ask is because we are distributing a pre-built Xcode project as part of an SDK and the project has multiple targets (including standalone applications and loadable bundles) and I was wondering if we needed to distribute the Info.plist files for each target along with the .xcode project, itself.

I have experimented with deleting the Info.plist entry values in the targert's build settings and the files themselves and all seems to work fine.

If the target is setup to generate an Info.plist file, there is probably a good reason for it. If you clear out the build setting then nothing will get written out, but other problems will crop up with your bundle.

Why do you care?

Is it necessary to have the target generate an Info.plist File? Or can we delete the value (a file name) associated with this target build setting?

Thanks,
