Thanks scott,
I made sure that I am using the java debugger and using a psuedo
terminal for standard input/output.

Go to the executable inspector and very that you are using the right
debugger. Xcode 1.5 can get confused about whether gdb or jdb should
be used.

Let me give a bit more background. I have a build process that uses
ant and jarbundler to create a <appName>.app which will run fine in
OS X. however i can't connect the debugger in XCode to it. everytime
it says that it has not executable to connect to. I have triple
checked the path to the .app as well as the environment. so i guess i
have a two parter of a question;
1. can the debugger in xcode connect to .app to debug or do i have to
use a jar, etc. for debugging?
2 has anyone done this?
sorry for the spam as I hit two lists at once with this question.
