Pragma support for function-level optimization

Hi!

I'm really sorry if this has been answered on this list or this documented clearly somewhere. I couldn't find the answer though I looked for it quite a some time.

The question is, how do I use the new #pragma support for function- level optimization mentioned in http://developer.apple.com/tools/ xcode/update.html.

I searched the net, Xcode documentation, GCC documentation at apple.com and fsf.org, but I couldn't find the answer.

I need this pragma because gcc 4.0 seems to generate invalid code with no optimizations (-O0), and I'd like narrow down the issue and not use any optimizations globally. This is obviously an issue only with debug builds, not release builds which are all optimized using -Os.

Thanks for any answers.
