Lance,
I had a similar problem. In the Build properties of the Target if
you type "signedness" in the search field (right side next to the
Collection field). It will show you the "Pointer Sign Comparison".
unchecking this did the trick for me and removed all of the
"signedness" warnings.
I'm not sure why it didn't work for you but you might want to check
"Configuration" at the top of the Target settings window and make
sure it is set to "All Configurations" or at least the one you are
trying to compile.

Hi XCode Folks,
The new, ever-pickier (read: more correct and complete)
compilers in XCode 2.1 are spewing zillions of warnings about
'signedness'.
To me, warnings are a big deal as I want every possible warning
the compiler will allow. They don't call them 'warnings' for
nothing. However, it would be nice if I could take on the
responsibility for appropriately dealing with any fallout from the
improper observation of signedness.
OK - I poked around in the Build settings but saw only 'Pointer
Sign Comparison' which did nothing to abate the tide of warnings.
Hence the question: How to tell the compiler to, please, not
complain about signedness?
Almost resign-ed to signedness,
