I have a project I created in Xcode 2.1 which worked fine for several
weeks, but has recently developed an annoying problem: incremental
builds always fail, generating zillions of compiler errors on any file
that gets compiled.
The errors look like they are caused by the pre-compiled prefix header
not being included; every use of a struct, function and global defined
in the pre-compiled header generates a "symbol undeclared" error.
If I "clean" and "build" it works as expected. If I then edit a source
file and rebuild, I get the zillions of errors on each edited file.
"Clean" and "Build" solves the problem, but it's pretty darn annoying
to have to recompile a hundred files every time I make even the
smallest edit.
This does not happen with other projects and was not cured by
installing the Xcode 2.2 developer preview.
Any idea what could cause this problem? I'm not that excited about
rebuilding the Xcode project.
