I don't have any particular reason for keeping them in CVS other
than 1) when I import a project initially, it is a lot easier to just
"make clean" and import the whole directory tree and not worry about
individual files, and 2) It is very nice when I check out the module
on a new machine for a quick test or something (when using my own
login name) to have the same settings come up automatically.. Kind of
like a network home directory.
I suppose though, since they are not project "sensitive" that I
should just pull them out, at least until I have a better solution.
I still think it would be nice to have the option of an alternate
filename choice, but I suppose that is up to the XCode guys and gals.
Thanks for the info,
Daniel

I would recommend not having .pbxuser and .mdel1 files in cvs.
They're bascially files that should be in the preferences and don't
need to be version controlled.
