Are you trying to say that the application you wrote for Panther behaves differently when you recompile it for Tiger? Does it behave differently when you just run the Panther version on Tiger without recompiling?


It's possible that Xcode 2.0's newer version of gcc is exposing hidden bugs in your code. Does your code compile without warnings? If there are warnings, what do they say?

It's hard to tell from your description whether this is a difference in Cocoa in Tiger, or a difference in gcc and Xcode, or a bug in your code that's just been exposed by rebuilding in with newer compiler.
