Setting the Mac OS X Deployment Target to 10.4 did the trick.

Thanks,
Mike

Have you set the "Mac OS X Deployment Target" and custom SDK in the build settings? I do see deprecated function warnings when I have both of these set.

I didn't get any responses to the message below so I thought I would try a different tack.

Has anyone been able to see warning messages about deprecated functions when compiling your code?

I've tried more tests like changing -Wmost to -Wall and removing the other flags but I still get no deprecated warning messages.

I'm trying to find all functions in my Carbon code that are deprecated. I'm running Xcode 2.1 with gcc 4.0.
The "Warn about deprecated" is checked. But I don't get any deprecated warning messages. I know that I'm using functions that are deprecated, like Quickdraw.

My other warnings flags are set to:
-Wmost -Wno-four-char-constants -Wno-unknown-pragmas

Any ideas why these are not showing?

Mike
