Hello,
I'm trying to get Subversion working over SSH in Xcode 2.1, with no
luck thus far. I've set up Subversion 1.2 on my remote server, and am
able to access the repository with my Mac using the CLI. However,
when I open a project that I've checked out, it prompts me for my
password (as one would expect), but the "Account" field is missing.
Judging by Xcode's online help, which has a picture of this dialog,
this is normal operation (?).
In any event, my (correct) password is continually rejected. I have a
sneaking suspicion that this is because svn+ssh sometimes require to
you to enter your password multiple times for one command, depending
on the operation. Judging by Subversion's online help, this is also
normal operation (?). My suspicion is that Xcode is hearing back
"Password:" instead of a prompt, and is figuring incorrectly that the
password is invalid.
Has anyone else experienced this? Is there anyone out there actually
using Xcode with svn+ssh, or is it not quite ready for primetime?
