So I noticed! I was just wondering if this is the expected behavior
or not. Somehow, I would have expected it to auto update, but maybe
I'm wrong.
I'll look into the custom data formatters though; I hadn't thought
about them before.
Thanks,

The memory browser does not auto-update as you step. If you know
which elements of the array you are interested in then you could
use the custom data formatters to display those elements in the
Summary column of the variables view.

I just want to check to see if anyone else is having this behavior

I'm debugging my app under XCode 2.0 on a 10.4.1 machine. Part of
it requires my looking at a large array of bytes that is more
easily viewed as memory (Debug->Tools_>Memory Browser menu item)
than as an array. The problem is that although the array view
correctly updates itself as I step through my program, the memory
view does not. The only way I can get an update is by clicking in
one of the text fields and hitting return. Is this the expected
behavior? Am I doing something wrong?
