Please ignore my post. It seems that is has been a temporary problem. It appears to work correctly after I have relaunched XCode. Why?...

They used to be visible there. Now when I click to the left of the code nothing appears. I can see that the breakpoint has been set in "Breakpoints" window, but it is not visible in code editor view.
