This is not possible in this case--as I described, I'm looking for the editor to do method/instance variable name coloring.


I too agree with Andy that CodeWarrior's Syntax coloring is something I miss in Xcode.


I am also on his side in wishing that more/most/all of the various gcc warnings/options were accessible from the UI. Having to add stuff to 'Other C Flags' etc should only be a temporary solution until the UI catches up.


3) Instead of investing time with improving the code editor, Apple
focusses on making it more obsolete. See Key Value Coding, see
Bindings, see Core Data, see ...



Again, see above--I develop cross platform software (and you have most likely used it unknowingly).


It took me a while to remember, but your software is music to my eyes ;)
