Xcode 2.1 config-files

  • Subject: Xcode 2.1 config-files

Hi,

I just created a new project in Xcode 2.1 and used xcconfig-files as the base for build configurations. Works wonderful and makes a lot of sense. Up to the point where I tried opening the project later. Xcode simply crashes. If I remove the lines containing "baseConfigurationReference" by hand from the projectfile the project loads but of course I need to adjust the setting again.

Yes, I've filed a bug, I just wanted to know if I am alone in this or if any others have similar problems...

As an aside: I wish Apple would put some more effort into making sure Xcode actually works instead of piling up more and more features as nice as might be. This is the second very serious bug I hit which makes it almost impossible to use Xcode 2...

Greetings,
Dix
