I can't test it yet, but I believe I have PostgreSQL ported to Tiger
and a Universal Binary (it compiles and runs on PPC). It appears to
be correct, lipo reports it as a Universal Binary. It took about 40
minutes, and most of that was futzing with autotools to get it to
emit the correct flags to gcc. I'll post more details to pgsqlformac
sourceforge project when I get an x86 box to test with.

I'm guessing the announcement will come at the Jan conference, and
then ship in 3 more weeks or so.
It'll be fun to see the reports on which developers compiled their
source into a Universal Binary with the necessary tweaks and how
long it took them (compared to Mathematica).
