Hmm....I've now gone the extra step of making sure that every non- Apple dynamic library or framework I use links with -lSystemStubs and I'm still getting the error.

sorry, to rush in answering.

You may have using a dynamic library which wasn't linked with
-lSystemStubs, and all your libraries which depend on these functions
need to be relinked too.

Using Xcode 2.1 on 10.4.1 to build a Carbon application target, I'm
getting:

/usr/bin/ld: Undefined symbols:
_fprintf$LDBLStub
_sprintf$LDBLStub
_fscanf$LDBLStub

and I *have* added libSystemStubs.a to the target, which is where nm
says those routines are defined. I have
verified that -lSystemStubs appears on the command-line.

However, I still get the undefined symbols error.

I searched the net and everyone there resolved the error just by
adding libSystemStubs.a - but it's not working
for me.

Anyone got any thoughts?

Thanks,
Wade
