XCode 2.1 doesn't think I'm building a kext

  • Subject: XCode 2.1 doesn't think I'm building a kext
  • From: Mark Cookson <email@hidden>

Why does XCode 2.1 think that I'm not building a kext when I am? When I
brought the target native, XCode 2.1 confirmed that I was building a kext by
saying that it was converting a "Kernel Extension".

I'm getting this error:

../../../../../../CrossTechnology/OSX/KernelFrameworkHeaders/10.3.0/Kernel.f
ramework/Headers/libkern/c++/OSMetaClass.h:210: warning:
`apple_kext_compatibility' 2.95 vtable-compatability attribute applies only
when compiling a kext

For internal reasons, we keep copies of the Apple headers rather than use
the cross compilation feature of XCode.

Thanks,
Mark
