I have a simple question for which I cannot find any answer in the xCode documentation (nor by searching the xCode user interface).

How do I select the compiler (e.g. gcc 3.3) for a new project?

My problem is that I have some code that compiles under 3.3 but not 4.0.

Searching "Xcode Help" for "gcc 3.3 compiler" took me here:

file:///Developer/ADC Reference Library/documentation/DeveloperTools/Conceptual/XcodeUserGuide21/Contents/Resources/en.lproj/05_03_bs_build_phases/chapter_31_section_10.html
