How about heading over to OpenDarwin.org, setting up a darwinports package the way you like it and then offering your work here as well as in an Enhancement Request at bugreport.apple.com?


For me, I found Subversion to be a incredible compley piece of software. But once I found out what I wanted (no apache, no berkeleyDB), it compiled out of the box and isntalled the way advertised. :-)
