cleanup of shared precompiled headers?

Given Xcode 2.1's new concept of shared precompiled headers in /
Library/Caches/com.apple.Xcode.<uid>/:
Is this being cleaned up now and then? So far, since WWDC, I have
assembled about a Gigabyte of precompiled headers there, for some
projects more than the number of project configurations used. Will
Xcode remove unneeded precompiled header files/directories in there?
I assume it would be hard to guess for Xcode, which ones are no
longer used, even for projects still in use.
When I change the build configuration and this requires re-building
the prec. headers - will Xcode remove the obsoleted ones?
If not, I can see this cache grow very quickly to several tens of
Gigabytes and _I_ wouldn't have a clue which ones are the current
ones short of guessing if they're older than, say, a month, I can
safely remove them...
Any ideas/strategies on storage space management for the shared prec.
headers (short of buying much larger hard disks for every
developer ;-) ?
