I am looking for a reference list of all the warning and error messages the compiler can spit out. I am trying to port some 400 old style C (pre ANSI!) files with thousands of lines per file. The source is not well documented (well, actually there is virtually no doc at all) and the codebase actually dates back to 16 bit Windows (it is supposed to compile under Win 3.11 with Visual Studio 4). The compiler complains often and it is not always clear what the problem could be. I have been looking in the official doc and also checked the gnu.org site but have not found anything. Does there exist such a list? Where is it? I used to do lots of Codewarrior stuff some years ago and they had a nice reference. Today I am using XCode 2.1 and GCC 4.
