Client-server debugging

I've read the documentation but cannot see yet how to actually do this. I have an interactive client (actually a python-like language called Glish) which starts various servers. It's not possible to usefully run the servers independently and I need to debug a server. How do I do this in XCode? I've defined two executables, the client glish and the server glishtk. When I run the debugger, I just get the client and not the server. What am I missing? Can anyone recommend a documentation source that covers topics at this level of detail?

Thanks,

Tim
