How are you authenticating? Is it password or private key? When you say
"without network interaction" do you mean you have looked at a network
trace and seen no activity?

- Open a project inspector
- Click on the general tab
- Click the 'Edit' button near the SCM System popup,
- Make sure 'Use ssh instead of rsh for external connections' is
