While I can find the netinfo header files in /usr/include/netinfo, is there something I need to add with the "-L/path/to/file -lname" to link against netinfo for my sub-project and if so what is it named and where can I find it?

You could use "-linfo", but I think that libinfo is part of "libSystem", which gets included automatically in a gcc build.
