Whenever I try to do any of numerous things - such as use the automatic re-indent feature or open an Inspector/Info window - in XCode 1.5 I get the follow message:
Uncaught Exception:
Cannot find value transformer with name XCStringToDataTransformer

I know there's some clues in there, but I just use XCode - I don't know much about whatever it's barfing on. Google has no results for this, and the issue has been mentioned previously on the AppleScript Studio and Cocoa-Dev lists, without any replies at all.
At first I figured my install (which was pretty much fresh, anyway) was somehow snafu. So I moved /Developer out of the way, used Pacifist to do a forced reinstall (since Installer.app is retarded and doesn't seem to do much at all). Same issue. Applied the 2004 gcc update from the ADC site. No change. I'm about to install the latest version of CHUD, just for completeness, but I already had the latest (4.1.1) installed before.
This is a deceptively annoying issue. To turn CVS on in one of my projects, for example, I had to manually edit the project file in TextEdit. Similarly, I rely heavily on automatic reindent, and not having it is a nightmare.
To be clear, this happens with any project I care to open.
