But now people are saying(!) that uninstall-devtools will remove files
(e.g. /usr/bin/c++filt) that the Xcode 2 installer won't replace
(since they're not part of Mac OS X 10.4), so if you haven't run
uninstall-devtools before upgrading to 10.4, you're in trouble.
My question is -- and I haven't seen it answered here -- if it's OK to
not actively "remove" Xcode 1.5 prior to installing (or upgrading to)
Xcode 2.0.
I'm in a situation that I did an upgrade install of 10.4 over a 10.3.9
and Xcode 1.5 installation and I'm afraid to do the next step.
