problem using -weak_framework

I'm trying to weak link to a private framework, but it doesn't want
to work.  If I add the framework to the target, everything works, but
I want to run on 10.3, so I must weak link.

Adding this to the Other linker flags:

-weak_framework Slideshow

Any suggestions?
