CFSTR throws warning in Tiger

  • Subject: CFSTR throws warning in Tiger

Using CFSTR("xxxx") throws "warning: type-punning to incomplete type might break strict-aliasing rules" in XCode 2.0/Tiger. This is new from 1.0/Jaguar. I don't have strict alias on, but am probably getting it from -fast (It'd be nice if there was an option for -fast that removed out all the other options.)

Anyway to fix this? Is this a bug or does this really break the strict-aliasing rules?
