Repairing permissions and active gcc version

Hi,

While repairing the permissions of my boot volume yesterday I noticed that several symbolic links in /usr/lib pertaining to gcc c++ libraries were supposedly "fixed" (it was mentioned in the log). It seems that the links needed by gcc 3.3 were all recreated, despite gcc 4.0 being the currently selected gcc version. After doing a "gcc_select -force 4.0" the links disappeared.

Did anyone experience anything similar? Is my system hosed? Is this a known bug? Or are the links completely innocuous even if I have gcc 4.0 selected?

Thanks,

João Pavão
