My program consists of a very large (450 source files) FORTRAN program with
an objective C GUI wrapper. The slow debugger loading occurs when I have
debugging symbols turned on in the Fortran source. Now that I think about
it, I am not sure if I had ever done that with Xcode 1.5. For now I rebuilt
the Fortran source without debugging symbols and the debugger load time is
fine.
Someday I will need to debug the Fortran source. I have never had much luck
with that from within Xcode so if anyone has any hints on how to make this
work they would be appreciated.
Thanks.
