In Xcode 2.0 the UI for preferences was streamlined to focus on
those preferences that we felt were of use to most users.
You can still get the desired behavior by setting the user default
PBXNumberOfParallelBuildSubtasks:
defaults write com.apple.Xcode PBXNumberOfParallelBuildSubtasks 1
This default and many others is documented in Help->Show Expert
Preferences Notes.
Is there one of these fun little pref keys for turning off all that
fun Dock icon stuff during and after a build? I can't make any use
of that particular display, it annoys and distracts me, and I can't
find any way to turn it off.
