how to add a lib file from /usr/local/lib to project

Hi, I want to add to my project in the External Frameworks and Libraries folder the file /usr/lib/libexpat.a.

When activating the add existing file command, it bring me in the Finder which mask the /usr folder.

Any one know how to go to this folder?
