What do you mean by "which panel"? In the case of the build styles this is all shown in the "Styles" tab (the collections popup just lets you filter the set of build settings to look at).

Thanks for clearing this my confusion on this, Scott.

Just one final question then, which panel is for which compiler?

P.S. I sure appreciate the fact that you attend this list and respond promptly.

This isn't a bug really, more of a design glitch. With the build
styles settings inspector we have to show a fixed set of possible
settings (in the target build settings we can look at the files
included in the target, but that won't work for a build style). In
this case we provide both GCC 3.3 and GCC 4.0 settings.

Unfortunately, the titles for both collections are "GNU C/C++
Compiler". In the next version of the tools, we should include the
version number in the collection name to reduce the confusion.

I don't think this is normal, and I suspect it may have to do with
having once (in the past) used gcc_select to select 3.3 even though
4.0 was already installed.  I've since gcc_select'ed 4.0 but this
has no effect.  I've tried deleting XCode prefs (grasping at
straws) but to no avail.  Does anyone have any idea how to fix this?
