This isn't an Xcode question, but I couldn't find a better list on http://lists.apple.com/mailman/listinfo. Let me know if I've missed one and I'll re-post wherever I should have.

I'm trying to use /Developer/Tools/SetFile to set an attribute on a symlink. In particular, I want the symlink to be invisible but the destination of the symlink to be visible. When I execute

   /Developer/Tools/SetFile -a v mySymLinkToSomeDirectory

it hides the destination of the symlink rather than the symlink itself. Is there a way to force SetFile to act on the symlink, or does this not make sense? (I know almost nothing about HFS+ attributes.)

You can do this in Xcode 2.2 DP2 and later. See the SetFile man page for the flag.
