Well, Servers are not typically meant to be used for development, but
as the differences between Mac OS X and Mac OS X Server are a few

There shouldn't be a principle problem between your and other
machines. What to do depends on how your app fails. You didn't write
a single sentence about this. Usual troubleshooting would include to
run your app from the Finder, outside of Xcode. Then, have a look
into /var/log/system.log to find what the system complains about.
