"-Wl,-single_module" included automagically?

...in linking a bundle, I'm getting:

/usr/bin/ld: -single_module or -multi_module flags can only be used when -dylib is also specified

...which is strange, because I didn't select that in the target build settings/configurations; I also cannot find where it is being included from via the search facilities, or just by looking thru the list of options...

...so how can I get rid of it?
