Dear List
My comment is ASCII only as far as I can make it. Where can I find
more information about what is breaking, where would Xcode log it ?
There is nothing in any of the logs that I can find ?

I have installed and configured subversion as per the many
documents on the Apple web site. It works perfectly, as long as I
do not attempt to use it from within Xcode. I have changed the
path of the svn binary as per the docs. Xcode correctly identifies
the changed files, but when I attempt to commit the changes from
within Xcode I am told "svn: Commit failed (Details follow)". The
details do not follow. If I run the commit from the command line
everything works just fine. Where can I find logs that document
what went wrong, I have spent quite some time combing through
console trying to find anything without success.
Hard to say with so little information, but I'm aware of at least
one bug which has the above symptoms: if your commit message
contains non-ASCII characters, Subversion fails as you describe.
Could that be the problem?
(I've reported it as rdar://problem/4311015 FWIW).
