Only using host computer to distribute the build

In Xcode 2.2, is there a way to set the 'distributed builds' preferences so that the current computer only farms out the compilation steps to others? That is, no compilation takes place on the host box. We have some users editing code on slow Macs, I suspect compilation would be fastest if those machines did nothing but host the distributed build.
