That does not seem to help me.
If I choose a copy files action and then select "Resources" that would refer to the resources directory of the plug-in, not the main app.
If I do this in the main app, then how can I be sure that the plug- ins are compiled first.

Look in the Xcode docs for "copy" phases and targets.
