linking Saturn woes

  • Subject: linking Saturn woes

I was attempting to use Saturn for profiling.  I attempted to use the direct Saturn method, with -finstrument-functions and adding libSaturn.dylib to my projects.
I CAN'T get the linker (libtool for my frameworks) to locate libSaturn!  I've added /usr/lib to the libraries search path, even an explicit -L/usr/lib, but nada!
it reports:
/usr/bin/ld: can't locate file for: -lSaturn

It's only libSaturn that it can't find.  Other system libraries in /usr/lib are read just fine.  I did a nm and an otool on /usr/lib/libSaturn.dylib, and it doesn't appear to be obviously corrupted...
I next ran the CHUD uninstaller, and downloaded and re-installed CHUD (4.2.3).  No diffierence. No joy.

Anyone have a suggestion?

Thanks
