I posted this question yesterday, but there were no replies.
Nobody has any suggestions?
I am moving from CodeWarrior to XCode, so I have joined this list.
Here is my first question:
Can anyone tell me how to overcome the following error I get when
compiling? :
...has local relocation entries in non-writable section
(__TEXT,__text)
The error refers to an object file that was produced in another
XCode project and is subsequently included in the project I am
working on.
That *could* be your problem right there, if you mean that the
object file was built with a different version of Xcode. It's
generally not recommended to mix object files built with different
versions. Of course, you might just mean that you're building the
other project as a dependent project at build time, in which case
you can disregard this advice.
I wish..
All components are built on the same Mac, using the same OS and the
same XCode.
But thanks for the suggestion :-)
I'm going to install XCode 2.2 and re-create the project from scratch
today and see if that makes any difference. I'm running low on ideas..
