Title: Re: Relocation entry errors on 10.3.9
Yeah, it is being compiled on 10.4 using gcc 3.3 already. We cannot use gcc 4.0.

I'm trying to use an object file compiled on Mac OS X 10.4 in Xcode 2.2 with gcc 3.3 on Mac OS X 10.3.9 with gcc 3.3. However I get 22 relocation entry errors when linking as such:

ld: Archive.o r_type field of relocation entry 22 in section (__TEXT,__text) invalid
ld: Archive.o stray relocation PPC_RELOC_PAIR entry (23) in section (__TEXT,__text)

And this just continues. Since I can't use xcode 2.1 projects in xcode 1.5, is there any other thing I can do to allow the project to link on 10.3.9?

Is the object file compiled on 10.4 using gcc 4.0?  Try building it on 10.4/Xcode 2.2 with gcc 3.3.
