As you noted in the other message and its follup, your main issue is probably not the change from Xcode 1.5 to Xcode 2.1
per se, but rather the fairly massive changes in Mac OS X headers from Mac OS X 10.3 to 10.4.
Even when using the 10.3.9 SDK there are some changes there from the 10.3.0 headers that may trip you up. Checking to make sure you're #including everything you need to is step 1.
