Can I create a Cocoa palette based on Carbon?

  • Subject: Can I create a Cocoa palette based on Carbon?

All,

I have some code which exists only in Carbon and would like to "palettize" it. When I create an IBPalette project with this code and then use the palette in a Cocoa Document test project, the runtime system complains that it can't decode IBCarbonTextView (the palette has a CarbonTextView in it). This is not the case when there are no Carbon widgets in the palette.

Is there some magic I need to include which will let Cocoa palettes decode Carbon widgets or is this simply not possible? How else can I componentize Carbon code if not by creating palettes?
