Thanks for the suggestion. I checked for a naming problem and didn't
find any.
By the way, have you had any success debugging Makefile-based
projects with XCode? In particular, have you had any success
debugging something like Apache httpd-2.1.8-beta with XCode?
My goal is to be able to debug projects such as httpd with XCode. The
reason that I had been trying to debug my simple Makefile project
with XCode is that I had previously tried and failed to debug Apache
httpd-2.1.8-beta with XCode. When I had attempted to debug httpd I
got the same "no source file named main.c" error that I got with my
simple project. I only created my simple project as a troubleshooting
step to try to figure where my problem was with XCode debugging.

white space in its name, or some invisible character you would have
typed in accidentally...
