I have these mystery link warnings:

/Developer/SDKs/MacOSX10.4u.sdk/usr/lib/gcc/powerpc-apple-
darwin8/4.0.1/../../../libmx.dylib(single module) definition of
_atan2f
and 28 others just like it: sinf, asinf, etc.
Any ideas how to get rid of them, or what's causing them? Neither
System.framework nor libmx.dylib are in my project so it's something
xCode is doing automagically, which makes it hard to troubleshoot.

Did you ever get an answer to this?
I saw this problem recently in a home project I was working on. I
also don't include System.framework or libmx is my project. I link
only against Cocoa.framework.
I searched all of Apple's lists for a fix. Have a look at: http://
lists.apple.com/archives/cocoa-dev/2005/May/msg00470.html
By applying the fix from the above link -- adding -lSystem to my
Other Linker Flags build setting -- I was able to make these warnings
go away.
Hope that helps,
