"Errors and Warnings" smart group stays empty

Hi,

I'm very annoyed by the fact that the "Errors and Warnings" smart group always stays empty, even though there are lots of warnings in the build-window. Further the red error indicators on the left side of the editor windows do not exist.

I'm using Xcode 2.1 on OS X 10.4.2. I can't remember when the problem started to appear.
I deleted the Xcode preferences file in my "~/Library/Preferences" folder. But this didn't help.
I tried looking for something useful in the Xcode-list archive... no success. (There was one lucky guy complaining about errors not being cleared in the smart group... ;-))
At the moment I'm helping me out by opening the build window and cycling through these errors. Very annoying.

Philipp

PS: If I create a new project (e.g. "C Standard tool") it works... but not for my particular project.
