CFBundleExecutable

  • Subject: CFBundleExecutable

In Xcode 2.1:
Target Info
	Properties
		Executable = Bimm
	Build
		Product Name = Bumm

Xcode -> Build
Now I have:
Bumm.app/Content/MacOs/Bumm
Bumm.app/Content/Info.plist CFBundleExecutable = Bimm

Xcode -> Run
Runs, but no icon in dock, no menu.

Double-click in Finder -> Panel: "..seems to be damaged or incomplete.."

Rename:
Bumm.app/Content/MacOs/Bimm (Note the last vowel)
Now can open in Finder and all is well.

Is this a bug in Xcode, or is it just Xcodes rather subtle way of telling me that I am plain silly?

Kind regards,

Gerriet.
