I need to edit some old resource files, actually I need to remove
some button pictures from a classic app and paste them into a new app.
The original files no longer exist (if they ever did) and we are
updating the app to os-x. The puctures are picture buttons.
Go find an old copy of ResEdit, install it, double click on it, and
once you have it open, drag the classic application to the ResEdit
icon in the dock. It will open, then you can go to the PICT resource
list and copy the items you'd like.
Create a new resource file (New command in the File menu) and paste
them in. Drag the resource file to your "Resources" group in Xcode
and that should pretty much do it.

I open my eyes and let the dream fade away.
